Kinesiology

Kinesiology is based on the principle that every living creature has an electro magnetic field around its physical body that reacts to in- and external stimuli by withdrawing (contracting) or expanding.

This field reacts by withdrawing when it dislikes a stimulus.
Its contraction shows a “No”.

Expanding occurs when the electro magnetic field reacts with a “Yes, I like this” response.

Interaction occur between the electro magnetic field and other subtle fields, so that the reactions of this field are easily influenced by thoughts and emotions as well.

This explains why it is important to keep your mind and emotions tranquil when you want to measure things, by using the reactions of the electro magnetic field on muscle tone, as one does with kinesiology.

 Method 1

Use the electrical circuit of your fingers

One of the test methods in kinesiology is to use the electrical circuit of your fingers.

How do you do this?

When you are right handed do the following (otherwise reverse hands):

start position kinesiologyBring the tips of the thumb and little finger of your left hand together. Now an electrical circuit is formed.
Hold your hand as shown on drawing A.

Bring the tips of the thumb and little finger of your right hand together.  See drawing B:

Put the joined test fingers (right hand) under the fingers that form a circuit (left hand). See drawing C.

Try to “break” the electrical circuit with your test fingers by tilting your right hand up- and a little bit backwards

When the “circuit” thumb and little finger are separated easily, the electrical circuit is not strong and shows a “No”.

When the “circuit” thumb and little finger stay in closed position, the electrical circuit is strong and shows a “Yes”.

This method of testing should be trained frequently to get used to it and become more comfortable with it.

In the beginning it can be difficult to get the feeling of the amount of pressure on has to put on finger and thumb that form the electrical circuit.

Too tight and one gets always a “Yes”, too little pressure and one gets always a “No”. Both are not correct and will influence the outcome of the answers to your questions.

Try to stay relaxed.

Method 2

Use your whole body

You make an agreement with your body to give you a "Yes" or a "No" response after asking a question.

Start with a neutral position: standing erect and still but relaxed.

Let a (slight) forward motion of your body be a "Yes" response and a (slight) leaning backwards be a "No" response.

Wait quietly and relaxed for the movement that your body makes after asking a Yes or No question.

The following applies to both methods:

Don't do any “real” testing at all first, but start with asking: “Give me a yes” and test and “Give me a no” and test. Wait till you are more secure about the feeling of a “Yes” and a “No” response before starting with more serious testing.

A playful attitude while learning new skills is always very helpful.

Remember, your electro magnetic field will be more relaxed and willing to cooperate when you are in a joyful and curious mood!
